Matcha Hot Chocolate

A rich winter warmer combining matcha with semi-sweet chocolate. 

1-2 Servings

Ingredients

  • Loop Matcha Tokyo Matcha: 2g
  • Boiled Water (for Matcha): 70ml
  • Semi-Sweet Chocolate: 20g
  • Boiled Water (for Chocolate): 70ml
  • Fresh Cream: 40g (whipped)

Preparation

  • Whip the fresh cream and transfer to a piping bag
  • Chop chocolate for decoration

How to Make

  1. Sift matcha into a bowl. Add boiled water and whisk well.
  2. Place chocolate in a separate bowl. Add boiled water and whisk until completely melted and smooth.
  3. Pour the chocolate mixture into a warm mug. Pour the matcha base on top.
  4. Top with piped fresh cream and shaved chocolate.
